Eurocardan’s commitment in the development of drive shafts’ innovations led to the achievement of several licenses aimed to reduce the time required for driveshaft maintenance as well as to make it easier the insert it in the power take-off.

 

   

 

AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION SYSTEM

To further reduce the time required for the maintenance of the PTO shaft, Eurocardan has studied this brand-new greasing system that allows, thanks to an inner tank, to grease several times all sensitive parts without resorting to the greaser.
This system allows to grease the two crosses, the two rings and the sliding area between the tubes through just one point of lube.

Instead performing five different greasing operations in the case of a standard shaft without safety devices - or even longer if the joint is homokinetic or if it is equipped with security organs - thanks to the central greasing system it is possible, by connecting the greaser just one time, to perform a localized supply of grease to the five main destinations (contact area between the metal tubes, the two zones of friction between the support ring of the protections and yokes, and the two crosses).
To access the only greaser you just need to align the slots on protection tubes and on the outer metallic tube to the greaser fastened to the inner tube.
In this way the time required for maintenance is drastically reduced.

Eurocardan has not only increased the interval between a lubrication and the following one, but  has studied a new greasing system to reduce the time required for the maintenance of the PTO shaft. SYSTEM OF AUTOMATIC ENGAGEMENT FOR END YOKES

 

 

 

Always oriented to the needs of customers, Eurocardan has designed a system to facilitate the insertion of the PTO shaft on the PTO, more and more difficult to reach because of the protections that leaves little room for maneuver on the coupling systems. The system allows the insertion of the yoke end on the PTO without the need to hold the classic button or the collar spring. The yoke is provided with a coupling that remains in the open position until it is keyed to the shaft PTO: the insertion triggers the lock button of the yoke. When you press the button to remove the yoke, it remains in the open position until the next insertion.

To further simplify the insertion of the yoke on the PTO, especially when the PTO shaft is equipped with a long cone, the york can be equipped with a spring self orienting insertion device which makes the insertion operation even easier.
